In Kihnu, bread has always held a place of honor, whether at weddings, funerals, or family gatherings. Together, we will prepare and bake traditional Kihnu bread.
We’ll start by making the dough. While the dough rises and bakes (about 1 hour and 40 minutes), we’ll prepare herb butter and taste Kihnu bread made by Külli, served with herb butter and jam. Alongside, we’ll share authentic stories about Kihnu’s food traditions and their continuity. Each participant will take home their own freshly baked, warm loaf of bread.
